Our Story

You remember the light, not the wallpaper.

No one grows up remembering a print. They remember a Sunday morning with the curtain half open. Steam on the bathroom mirror. The table where the same four people sat, every week, for years, arguing about nothing at all.

Fabric is the quiet part of all of it. It's what the light came through. It's what was behind you at dinner. It's the colour the whole room was washed in, and nobody ever decided it.

That's the part we make. Not the memory — the room it happened in.

A room doesn't become yours when you finish decorating it

It becomes yours about a year later, when nothing matches and it stops mattering. When the curtain has softened because it's been washed. When someone leaves a mark on the tablecloth that won't come out, and you decide you don't want it to.

We build for that room, not for the photograph.

Four things, done properly

  • Shower curtains — waterproof polyester, 72 × 72 in, with a soft drape instead of a stiff plastic hand.
  • Window and door curtains — thermal panels that actually keep a bedroom dark, plus linen-textured sheers that filter light without closing a room off.
  • Tablecloths — original art prints on washable microfiber, in three table sizes, built for a hot dish straight from the oven.
  • Artificial trees and plants — monstera, areca palm and bird of paradise at 120cm, for corners that get no light at all.

Every print starts as a drawing — hand-drawn florals, painterly botanicals, eucalyptus watercolours — before it's reproduced on cloth. Clay, sage, faded indigo, sun-bleached neutrals. Colours that hold a room at a low, steady temperature instead of shouting across it.

Why we're called Happy Memories

Because that's the part we can't manufacture.

We can get the shipping right — free within the United States, out the door fast, thirty days if you change your mind. We can get the fabric right. What happens in the room after that is yours.

We just try to have it ready.
